The limits of human multitasking

For those of you do not know what "multitasking", I tell you. When using the PC you will notice that your friend is able to simultaneously carry out multiple parallel activities, for example, while chatting on messenger maybe go on the Internet or make a VoIP call. The number of "tasks" (processes) that can run simultaneously on the computer depends entirely on how much memory you have, since each task will need a bit 'to keep its data and its "state". We humans think we
equally adept at carrying out operations in multitasking, but a recent research study coordinated by the Department of Psychology, University of Oregon, has shown that the human mind can remain active more than 4 discrete thoughts (practical) or play more than 4 parallel operations simultaneously. Reductive eh against the hundreds of tasks that your little PC can do!?
In any case the most interesting thing is that while the number of PCs for the task depends only on the size of the task, and then from memory at your disposal (for example, 100 small or 50 large task) for the fourth man is a limit absolutely .... that is that you are thinking or doing things more or less difficult (= human commitment in the computer memory) you can always do it and only 4. Or biting their nails and prove the theory of relativity have the same weight on your system multitasking ..... Funny no?!? Not so much because I can bite my nails but not to prove the theorem of relativity:)
